I recently discovered a list of the Slope Ratings for all the executive courses on the "Golf The Villages" website. I've never seen this before. I've always known each executive course has a rating level (1 the easiest - 4 the hardest) but a Slope Rating is far more accurate and reflective of the course's difficulty.
It's no surprise that Pelican has the highest rating from the black tees. But Bogart, which is rated as just a level 2, is tied for second with Grey Fox, Bacall and Longleaf. And Bogart is the 5th most difficult from Gold. It all makes sense now!
