  1. Short is better than long
  2. Swing easy to avoid spraying away
  3. Smart play is to lay up to the red 100-yard marker for a great chance at par
  4. Check the wind direction - this is your first shot to the east
  5. Aim in front of flag for best putting angles 
  6. Aim to front right for uphill putt
  7. Drive needs to be 170-200 yards on the right side for best approach to the green
  8. Check the wind as you're shooting west now
  9. Club up to carry water - keep your head down through your swing
