Roosevelt
Hole
- Use high lofted club to come in high over that lippy trap
- Check the wind direction and club up
- Check the wind again - don't be long
- Downhill - be sure to follow through - aim for front right
- Toughest shot - use as high lofted club as you can for a center land
- Smart play is to lay up out of trouble near the 100 red stake - drive up to the green to get your bearings before your 2nd shot
- Aim right for best 2nd shot approach angle
- Downhill - better to be short
- Club up - maybe 2 - better to be long
Toughest four: 5, 9, 7, 8

<<<< Your emotions tell you to bomb away on Roosevelt 6, but the smart play is to lay up to the 100-yard red stake and get an easy par.
>>>>> Is this a picture of San Jaun Heights where Teddy's Rough Riders climbed to do battle? No, it's just the backside of the 8th hole - I told you not to go long!
